playwrights/creators will apply with an idea or script they'd like to produce. selected applicants will workshop their ideas collaboratively with the goal of completing a script for the first born festival.

this process will take place over a span of 6 weeks. 3 to 5 creators will be selected to work alongside first born team members and dramaturges.

first born theatre works and plays in the city of toronto which is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
